Privacy
Clippy runs entirely on your phone. There is no account with us and no server of ours that sees your data.
What stays on your phone
- Your H‑E‑B sign-in, held by the in-app browser exactly as Safari would hold it. Your password is typed into H‑E‑B's own page and never passes through the app.
- Your shopping list, the list of coupons you have clipped, and a history of the app's runs.
What leaves your phone
- Requests to heb.com, made by the in-app browser as part of clipping coupons — the same requests the H‑E‑B website makes when you clip by hand.
- Optionally, if you connect the app to a coupon-platform household in Settings: the titles and values of coupons clipped in each run, sent to the address you entered. This is off unless you set it up.
What we do not do
No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no tracking, no sale or sharing of data. The install page for friends stores nothing: the device ID it shows you is shown to you and not kept.
